Challenges
The Google Sites layout is pretty straightforward so I haven't ran into to many problems so far. However, I'm sure as I progress I won't be able to say that anymore. One of the challenges I have encountered thus far is making my site pleasing to the eye. I want to make it seem like I know more about creating websites than I actually do by making it look good. I found a couple of tutorials on youtube that have helped a little bit but if anybody knows any tricks to make my site look better please share. Making a site look nice can infact make it look like a better site than it is. Try playing with the different themes and other such setting on your google site. Also, there are other google site templates that look much nicer but its a lot of work to remove all their content and put ur own in which is why i suggested you use a blank site instead of a template. Anyway, those are just a few ways you can make ur site look better.
ReplyDeleteI found a way to change the colors and fonts of my site. Once I found it I felt silly because it was pretty obvious. When you click on edit sidebar there is a sub heading on the left that says site appearance and under that you can the layout, color and theme.
